By using this website or a Darwin Hub app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the relevant service.
Personal licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our apps for lawful personal purposes, subject to Google Play terms and any app-specific notices.
Ads and in-app purchases
Many apps are free and supported by ads from Google AdMob, and some offer optional in-app purchases processed by Google Play. Each app’s Google Play listing states whether it contains ads or in-app purchases. Ads are supplied by third parties: Darwin Hub does not endorse advertised products and is not responsible for third-party sites, apps, or offers you reach through an ad.
Purchase terms and refunds
The price, currency, applicable taxes, and purchase conditions are shown by Google Play before you confirm a transaction. Do not complete a purchase unless you understand those conditions. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, location, timing, Google Play policies, and applicable law; these terms do not remove statutory refund rights.
See Purchases & Refunds for request and support options. Restoration depends on the app, purchase type, and Google account used; do not assume every purchase transfers between accounts or devices.
Your content and backups
You retain your rights in notes, attachments, and other content you create or import. You are responsible for having permission to use that content and for keeping copies of important files. Clearing storage, uninstalling an app, losing a device, or changing backup settings may remove content or progress. An app’s local storage is not a guaranteed backup service.
Fair use
Use the services lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not disrupt services, introduce malicious code, bypass security or purchase checks, misrepresent affiliation with Darwin Hub, or use our products for unlawful or harmful activity.
Do not copy or distribute proprietary software or artwork without permission. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; they do not remove exceptions or rights available under applicable law.
Utility apps and external actions
Check important calculations, converted values, dates, and reminders before relying on them. Device settings, permissions, battery restrictions, and operating-system behaviour may affect notifications or alarms. Calculator outputs are informational estimates and do not replace professional advice where needed.
QR codes can open third-party destinations or disclose encoded information; inspect the destination and content before opening or sharing. You remain responsible for actions you choose to take outside the app.
Availability and changes
We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and purchase commitments. Availability can differ by device, Android version, region, and Google Play account. Offline apps may continue to work, but compatibility can change with devices and operating-system updates.
We do not promise a fixed update schedule or permanent support for every device. Keep important content backed up before changing app versions or devices.
Third-party services and links
Google Play, Google AdMob, linked websites, and other independent providers have their own terms and policies. Their availability and behaviour are outside Darwin Hub’s direct control. Review their terms before sharing information or making a purchase. Store descriptions and app-specific notices describe which features are available for a particular app or version.
Privacy and permissions
Our Privacy Policy explains information handling, advertising services, device permissions, and privacy requests. The Cookie Policy explains website browser storage. Grant permissions only when you want to use the related feature; disabling permissions may limit functionality.
Intellectual property
Darwin Hub software, branding, copy, and original artwork remain the property of their respective owner. Third-party platform names and marks belong to their owners.
Disclaimer
Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or fitness for every purpose. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Darwin Hub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the services. Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
Stopping use and enforcement
You can stop using the website at any time and uninstall an app through your device settings. Manage any Google Play purchases separately; uninstalling an app does not itself request a refund. We may restrict access to services we control where necessary to address a material breach, abuse, security concerns, or legal requirements.
Local app data and independently operated services remain subject to their own controls.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to our services or applicable requirements. Updated terms are published on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek agreement before a material change applies.
If you do not accept updated terms, stop using the affected service. Changes do not remove rights that arose before the update or mandatory consumer protections.
Resolving concerns
Contact hello@caix.in with the app name, relevant version, and a description of the problem so we can try to resolve it. For purchase issues, include an order reference if available, but never send complete card details. This contact process does not prevent you from using statutory complaint procedures or seeking remedies available under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your location.
Severability and mandatory rights
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive it. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
